Zuko’s Mom! New “The Search” Trailer

Since…well, since Book 2, Episode 7 of Avatar: The Last Airbender, I have been dying…dying to know what happened to Ursa. I think I grew attached to her barely existent character due to my obsession of trying to figure it out. I’ve come to many…challenged theories. All which led to my belief that Ozai (yes, the bad guy) still loved Ursa after she “killed” Azulon (because, I mean, come on) and became super-mega crazy and crowned himself Phoenix King.

Anyhow…so…here it is, fellow Avatards…Our questions shall be answers and our hopes…well, we’ll get to that part later. Leave your comments below.  icon cool Zukos Mom! New The Search Trailer

Pre-Order Legend of Korra on DVD!

Hey, Avatards! It’s been a long time since news has resurfaced on the internet regarding Legend of Korra. If you haven’t heard already, Legend of Korra is currently available to pre-order on DVD for less than $20. I’m really excited for season two of Korra; I really want to see where Bryke take the series now that they psychologically know they have a lot more time to develop a solid plot for the show. I’m not the biggest fan of Legend of Korra’s first season, but, a hardcore fan will remain hardcore and pre-order the DVD any ways. Check out the trailer below:

Pre-order the DVD here.

Legend of Korra Nominated for 2 Annie Awards

“Best Animated Television Production For Children” - ‘Welcome to Republic City’/’A Leaf in the Wind’

“Character Design in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production” – ‘Welcome to Republic City’

We’ll hear whether Korra snagged an award on February 2nd when the winners are announced.

Mae Whitman to Voice Act in Korra?

mae whitman img Mae Whitman to Voice Act in Korra?

In a recent interview with IGN, Mae Whitman – the voice actress of Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s Katara – talks about her new role in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and her return to Arrested Development. More importantly, she talks about possibly weaselling her way onto the Legend of Korra cast…

IGN: Lastly, our readers are also huge fans of the Avatar series. Is there any possibility that you might come back to record for The Legend of Korra at some point, too?

Whitman: I’d say, definitely. Those guys are all my friends. We’re cut from the same cloth, and I’m obviously a huge fan of that as well. I love that the fans are so passionate about it. And going to Comic-Con and seeing people dressed up as Katara just makes me so happy. I’m also glad there’s a new story to follow. I know it probably wouldn’t be Katara, but if there was any way I could be a part of that — and I think it’s on their radar that I’m really passionate about all their projects — I wouldn’t be surprised if I somehow weaseled my way onto that show as well.
